We are Chris & Donna and Serenade Entertainment is our baby.
We met in 2012 through our love of music, Donna has been singing for many years and I’ve been DJ’ing for, well, a lot more…
We welcomed our Son into the world in 2013 and the music got parked for a while, but in 2016 we bit the bullet and decided to get back out there and that is when Serenade Entertainment was born!
It’s the best plunge we ever took!
Meet Your DJ – Chris Murrell
My passion for DJ’ing sparked at the young age of 14 when my lovely Mum reluctantly agreed (I think I promised to pay her back, pretty sure I didn’t) to buy me a pair of Technics 1200 turntables and that is where it all began.
I quickly adopted my style to mix different genres of music, I love blending all types of musical cultures together, it is something I still do today.
I work relentlessly on my technique to master the art to the best of my ability.
I love being a DJ, I think it’s the best job in the world and every time I play at an event, I am so excited to bring everyone together through music, for me there is no better feeling than partying the night away with the ones you love.
I have over 35 years of experience which has been gained whilst DJ’ing in Ibiza to top clubs in London and then onto the mobile disco circuit. I have extensive music knowledge, I love all genres which is helpful when it comes to keeping your guests on the dance floor all night!
My aim is to ensure my performance at every event is delivered with energy, passion and that all important feel good factor. Only full dance floors on my watch!
